Wordless Wednesday: Lotion
I keep my empty olive oil bottles next to the sink. A few little drops of the leftovers makes a wonderful, natural, safe hand lotion. No plastic bottles to feel guilty over when the last bit is really gone.

Interesting idea. Does that not make you...slippery? ;-)
What about the smell?
great idea!
What a good idea.
I use extra virgin olive oil all the time (health reasons, hubby's heart). I never thought of using it as a hand lotion.
great idea for a lotion!! thanks for the info!
I remember Marie Helvin (one of the early super models in the UK)(and I know I spelt her name wrong) doing a magazine article where she said that she had discovered the olive Oil was the most healthy oil she could put ON her body as well as IN it. That was years and years ago.
Great picture and very helpful information. I'll have to give it a try. Thanks.
If you have time, please check out my pic on My Photo Blog.
Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday.
Chris... only for a moment... then, it sinks in.
Simone... sometime I'll run a recipe for fragranced olive oil, but I rather like smelling like an Italian kitchen. (Actually, the smell dissipates almost immediately.)
Uzkoe... thanks for that bit of history. Very interesting!
Sophia Loren bathes in olive oil (AARP magazine told me so). Slap enough of that stuff on, and maybe we can all look like her! Good photo, great tip! Thanks.
great picture
I've always found olive oil to be too slick.
And I just threw out a bottle that had just a dab left. Have to try it. Loved the photo.
awesome...thanks!
